Blu Flame Blvd. Ross I love you know better so that, right!?!

So plainly the Soul Train Awards were last night. And in massive, pouty "titty attack" Rick Ross stormed out of the award show after losing to Eminem for "Best Rap Song". Now I'm a huge Eminem fan but also love the stake and to be true there are simply a hand full of artists in hi hop that can bet Eminem at an award show and Rick Ross is not one of them.

He's had a monster year after dealing with 50's antics but someone needs a reality check. Right on cue to have that condition was Chrisette Michele, who featured on "Aston Martin" Music w/ Ross. She served it up straight to the gut via her blog....

If this is the way hip hop is so I mark it. This is not about ego. This is some what I can take to the world. My living is for the people. I go to give. It`s my want to bring life and freedom light and love everywhere I go. Upward mobility in the brown skinned community. Whostands off at an honour show because they don`t win? An award is winningat being as "stuck in a category" as possible. Congratulations to allthe trophy holders who won at being the most like every one else. I could have sworn hip hop was on the follow up. But apparently rapping is about venting, bashing, chauvinistic pigging, and EGO. Not cool. Don`t LET me start rapping. Theysay_I`m ecclectic. I`m underrated. I`m different. Well If I win anaward it`s because I paved a way. Every award I`ve won was new in it`scategory. You know why? Because I`m amazing at being my damn self. Grammy - best alternative R&B song Centric award - Soul Approved Etc. Haveu even heard of those categories? Nope. But think what? You ain`t neverseen another me. And u never will. No ego here. Why? Because it`s noneneeded. My honor is waking up every morning and CAKING off of what Ibelieve in by the deck of God. Maybe I`ll call my 4th album "winners : just wish every body else" maybe not. Ipray with every song I sing Im singing from the bottom of my heart. Ifall we need is an honour for telling our truths, then we actually have notrue reason. This isn`t a competition. This is a point for selfexpression and I`m grateful for the opportunity to go on it. I`d singeven if nobody sang along. -from the seat of my disappointedheart. Hip Hop_ Man up. I wanted to be supportive but I can`t understandyou. I believed in you_ But apparently you`re so high you can`t evensee what the cosmos needs. Is all hip hop like that? Absolutelynot!
